Lexy's Club

After asking me to help her set up her tent this afternoon, Lexy came in and asked Daddy "do you want to be a part of my club?". Being the good Daddy that he is he said "sure" and they had their club meeting :-)

When they were done with their meeting they played a couple of board games...

Mike's not loving his new summer hours at work but the girls and I love having more time with him in the afternoon/evenings! Brooke, Lexy and I are truly blessed to have such a great daddy and husband!

Father's Day

For Father's Day this year, Daddy was served breakfast in bed (french toast and sausage) and then we headed up to Papa & Grammy's house. We had a great time hanging out at their house and having a wonderful dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, deviled eggs, veggies, watermelon, chips and strawberry cake.

Mike got a grill accessory set, wrestling DVD and his favorite candies. Papa got the hot air popcorn popper he asked for plus a bag of popcorn and a bowl that we personalized to say "Papa's Popcorn"...hope you find a way to make that popcorn a little less dry Papa & Grammy :-)

2010 Flower Garden

Daddy and Lexy worked together to get our 2010 flower garden in last weekend. Lexy loved helping at first but lost interest and went into watch cartoons :-) Daddy and I finished up...ok so Mike did LOTS more than me but it looks pretty!!!

Family Fun Day

For family fun time this weekend we split up and did...

Daddy and Lexy time...they played at home, went to McDonald's and ate dinner together, went to the park and then played outside at home! Lexy said she had a really fun time playing with Daddy, Daddy said that Lexy scared him with how high she can swing herself on the swings now!

Mommy and Brooke time...Brooke and I joined Robin and Kenzie for lunch at a new place (Beach Bums, really cool, Lexy would love it!), some shopping at Kohl's (new purses for all!), a movie (Bride Wars, very good!), some more shopping at the mall & Target and then a little dinner at Wendy's before heading home. We had a great time and the bigger girls got some much needed mommy time and leisurely shopping without little siblings around!

Mike (34) and Brooke (19 months)

Brooke has ALWAYS been a Daddy's girl! They look the same, they act the same and they both have my heart! I can remember this time in Brooke's life so well, she was SO funny, always saying or doing something to make us laugh!
