Focus Friday

Focus Friday

Ellen over at Thrifty & Chic Mom has this great weekly challenge. Focus Friday is where you list a couple of small and/or large projects that you want to focus on for the week and then the next week you tell how you did at getting those projects done.

Last weeks goals (going back to the ones I didn't get done) are...

1.) FINISH that darn thorn in my side curtain for the shelves on the entertainment center! Done, hip hip hooray!
2.) Master bedroom - clean out all the junk, put new bedding on, make new curtains & cover for vanity. I'm changing this one a bit since I have procrastinated too long now to put my new winter bedding on!! So I'll clean out the junk, find new sheets to go with the summer comforter and look for fabric to make summer curtains/vanity cover. This one is a fail...or a work in progress is a better way to put it. I can't find any sheets that I like, all I can find are solid or stripes and I don't like either so I'll continue to look. I have not made the curtains or vanity cover. But I have begun the uncluttering (read cleaning out all the junk) process and I bought a pretty new tray with shells and air freshner thingy for the room.

This weeks goals are...

1.) Enjoy our family time during spring break!

2.) Do a little work on the master bedroom.

I love the St. patty's day background! As a professional organizer I am offering a tip- don't allow yourself to buy anything new for a space until you are finished decluttering it- kinda like a reward for yourself.

Good luck this week!
