Way Back When-esday and Wordful Wednesday

Summer 2007
Papa & Lexy (3)
Lexy is enjoying a bedtime story from Papa. Papa has his own unique way of telling stories...never reading the story but instead making up his own silly version from the pictures. Both the girls have always loved having stories read to them by Papa. This was about the time that every time we would read a story Lexy would beg for us to read it "Papa's way". We love you Papa!
To check out who else is playing along join Cheryl for Way Back When-esday and Angie at Wordful Wednesday !

grandpas are SO GOOD at reading stories! Mine used to record board books for us and mail them to us with the tape recording + corresponding book. What a treat!

If you'd like to see mine...here it is

How adorable!
It's the cutest thing ever to see kids and their grandparents. And, how fun that her grandpa makes special stories for her. Great memories!

Happy Whens-day!
